Breaking News!!! - Murray and Amy are currently planning their second disc, hopefully a ‘Murray, Amy and friends’ disc. They plan to record tracks with friends and colleagues from the scene as well as more of their inimitable sets. Watch this space!!
Amy will be teaching at Sidmouth 2004 in the ‘Roots and Shoots’ team. If you are visiting Sidmouth this year make sure you say hi!
Murray & Amy are currently working on a book of tunes, combining their favourite traditional melodies with their own original compositions. Due for publication later this year, the book will also be linked to a web resource, providing downloadable recordings of every tune in the book, making it a fabulous way to explore their music.
Murray and Amy are currently organising their schedule of performances over the next few months, but confirmed gigs so far include -
19th March - Winter Gardens, Cleethorpes
11th May - Stockport Accordion Club
15th May - Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead
25th/26th May - Chorlton Arts Festival
June - The Globe, Glossop (date tbc)
July - tour of Scotland, details to be posted soon
